Velebit Nature Park
The Nature Park encompasses the greater part of the Velebit Mountain and valley of the karst river Zrmanja and is the largest protected area of nature in Croatia. For its natural values, UNESCO protected it as an International Biosphere Reserve, in 1978. Many fauna species that are rare and endangered elsewhere can be found here, as well as some endemic species.

Gradski Museum Varaždin
Varaždin City Museum was founded following the initiative of Varaždin Museum Society and was formally opened for visitors on 16th November 1925 in the premises of the fortress called The Old Town. The basic items of the first permanent exhibition were the objects given to the Museum by renowned Varaždin families.

Nacionalni park Krka

The story about Paprenjak
This aromatic pastry was made even in the distant days of the Renaissance. It is special because of its rectangular shape and folklore motives. Its popularity among Gradec's first inhabitants was described in šenoa's novel The Goldsmith`s Gold, the description of Magda. She was called the Paprenjak Woman, for in the whole town there was no one to match Magda's skill in making Paprenjaks.

Trakoscan Castle

The Nin Catheral is a cathedral in Nin, Croatia. It is probably the smallest cathedral ever built. It was built around 800, and probably was the seat of the local bishop at the time.

Kornati archipelago
The Croatian Kornati archipelago is located in northern Dalmatia, south of Zadar, but in Sibenik-Knin county. With 150 islands in a sea area of about 320 km Kornati are the densest archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea.
